Trott Goes 4-0, But Gardner-Webb Drops Four Matches Saturday In Michigan

Austin Trott (165 pounds) continued his solid early season performance, posting a 4-0 record for the day. Trott took down Kent State's Clay Wenger in a 12-0 major decision, topped Eastern Michigan's Jacob Davis 8-3, held off Michigan State's Bobby Nash 5-2 and blanked Utah Valley's Curtis Abner Cook, 7-0.
Gardner-Webb got wins from Cortez Starkes (125 pounds) and Ryan Mosley (141 pounds) against Michigan State and from Brett Stein (174 pounds) in the Utah Valley match.
The Runnin' Bulldogs will be back in action on Sunday, November 24, in Raleigh, N.C., at the Wolfpack Duals.
