Green (Greensboro, N.C. / Western Guilford HS) posted the 27th double-double of her career in a 68-57 win over Wofford, dominating play on both ends of the court.
Green finished Gardner-Webb's lone game of the week with 18 points, 17 rebounds, three blocks and three steals - knocking down 8-of-10 from the floor (80.0 percent) and two of her three free throws (67.0 percent) in the win.
The 6-foot-2 center had 10 points and seven caroms before halftime, and scored six points in a key run that helped Gardner-Webb build a 14-point lead midway through the final stanza.
She pulled down 10 of her game-high 17 boards after intermission, and her defense was key in helping Gardner-Webb hold Wofford at bay after the Terriers cut that double figures lead down to four in the second half.
Green's effort helped Gardner-Webb improve to 5-0 on its home court this season, with each of those wins coming by double digits. For the season, Green is averaging a strong 15.2 points, 10.7 rebounds and 1.7 blocked shots per game.
Green is also shooting at a high rate, hitting her shots from the floor at a 67.5 percent clip this season (56-of-83)
