Runnin' Bulldogs Set to Compete This Week at the Keith Hills Spring Intercollegiate

Boiling Springs, N.C. - The Gardner-Webb men's golf team will return to competition this week to participate in the Keith Hills Spring Intercollegiate hosted by the Campbell Fighting Camels at the Keith Hills Country Club in Buies Creek, N.C. on April 1-2.
Gardner-Webb as a team has posted four straight top-10 finishes so far this spring and is coming off a ninth-place team finish last week at the Furman Intercollegiate in Greenville, S.C.
Both senior Daniel Kim and sophomore Matt Yelverton each posted a team-low round of 71, -1 under par, at the Furman Intercollegiate as both finished in the top-25 overall to lead the Runnin' Bulldogs over the three-round event.
The lineup for head coach Tee Burton will be the same heading into play this week, as Kim, Yelverton, Daley Byles, Steven Jones and Elki Kow will all compete for the Runnin' Bulldogs at the Keith Hills Spring Intercollegiate.
The pentad has represented Gardner-Webb in all four-spring tournaments so far this season with Kim, Jones and Byles all finishing as the top GWU golfer in at least one event on the spring season.
The Runnin' Bulldogs will also have two golfers in senior Arron Price and freshman Clement Kurniawan compete as individuals at the two-day event in Buies Creek, N.C.
The tournament is scheduled to start on Monday morning, April 1st, and will conclude on Tuesday afternoon, April 2nd, weather permitting.
