Ninety Six, S.C. - On what was a very windy day from start to finish on Monday, the Runnin' Bulldogs carded a team score of 306, +18, on the second round of play to move into sixth-place in the team standings after day two of the 2013 Big South Men's Golf Championship on hosted by Gardner-Webb University at The Patriot Golf Club in Ninety Six, S.C.

Gardner-Webb's combined two round score of 615, +39, has the Runnin' Bulldogs in sixth-place overall heading into the third and final round of play on Tuesday, April 23rd.

The Runnin' Bulldogs are two strokes behind the fifth-place team in Campbell University (613, +37) and only five shots behind Radford (610, +34), who is in fourth-place overall.

Sophomore Matt Yelverton, redshirt-junior Daley Byles and freshman Elki Kow all posted a second round 75, +3, on Monday to climb up the leaderboard.

Yelverton's 75, +3, on Monday included a birdie on hole three and 14 pars to give him a combined two round score of 151, +7, to finish day two in a tie for 13th-place overall. Yelverton posted a first round 76, + 4, on Sunday.

Byles, who shot a 79, +7, on Sunday in round one, carded three birdies and 10 pars in his second round of play to post a 75, +3, and move up to 24th-place overall with his combined two round score of 154, +10.

Kow, who carded a first round score of 80, +8, yesterday, like Byles, recorded three birdies and 10 pars en route to his second round 75, +3, to post a combined two round score of 155, +11, to move into a tie at 27th-place overall through two rounds of play.

Senior Daniel Kim, who posted two birdies on the day, carded a second round 81, +9, on day two of play to put his combined two-round score at 155, +11. Kim is also tied at 27th-place overall.

Junior Steven Jones, who registered a 34, -2 under par, on the front nine, registered two birdies and nine pars overall to finish with a second round score of 82, +10. Jones, who has posted back-to-back rounds of 82, +10, sits in a tie at 45th-place overall with his combined score of 164, +20.

Coastal Carolina, who carded a team low round of 289, +1, on Monday, took over first-place overall in the team standings with its two-day combined team score of 585, +9.

Liberty, who carded its second straight team round of 294, +6, fell to second-place overall with its two-round combined team score of 588, +12, five strokes ahead of third-place Winthrop who sits at 593, +17.

The third and final round of play will tee-off at 8:30 a.m. on Tuesday morning.
