Gardner-Webb Women's Soccer to Host 2013 Under Armour Border Classic September 13-15

Boiling Springs, N.C. - Gardner-Webb women's soccer will play to host to the 2013 Border Classic, presented by Under Armour, with two matches being played on Friday, September 13 followed by two matches on Sunday, September 15.
In addition to Gardner-Webb, USC Upstate, Chattanooga, and South Carolina State will participate in the Under Armour Border Classic this coming weekend.
To kick off the tournament, the Spartans of USC Upstate (1-4-1) will face South Carolina State in a match slated to start at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. The Bulldogs, who are scheduled to play Emmanuel College on Tuesday prior to the tournament, currently own a 3-4 record.
In the nightcap on Friday, GWU (1-3-1) will face Chattanooga (2-2) at 7:00 p.m. The Runnin' Bulldogs will look to avenge a 1-0 home loss to the Mocs from last season when the two teams meet Friday night.
Sunday's action at Greene-Harbison Field will get started at 1:00 p.m. when South Carolina State and Chattanooga meet on the pitch. Following the completion of the match between the Bulldogs and the Mocs, GWU and USC Upstate will close out the tournament in a match scheduled for a 3:00 p.m. start time on Sunday.
Fans can follow all the action at the 2013 Under Armour Border Classic via live stats, which will be available for all four matches of the tournament, as well as through live video stream courtesy of the Big South Network, which will available for both of Gardner-Webb's contests this weekend.
