GWU's Elki Kow Named Co-Big South Golfer of the Week

Charlotte, N.C. - Gardner-Webb's Elki Kow, along with PC's Davis Parker and Coastal Carolina's Olle Widegren, was tabbed the Choice Hotels Big South Men's Co-Golfer of the Week, it was announced today by the Big South Conference office.
Kow and Parker tied for runner-up at the Myrtle Beach Invitational (par 72, 6,866 yards) with identical 3-under par scores (71-70 = 141), while Widegren tied for second with scores of 72-69 in his collegiate debut. All three golfers finished ahead of 26 Big South golfers competing in the event.
Kow's finish was his top finish in his collegiate career.
The weekly conference award is the first for Kow in his career.
