Trott Ranked No. 22 In NCAA Division I Wrestling Coaches Panel Rankings

Trott (Kingsland, Ga.) has enjoyed a breakout season as a redshirt freshman, forging a 22-3 overall record while wrestling primarily in the 165-pound weight class. The 6-foot-1 standout is ran his win streak to nine matches last week, earning Southern Conference Wrestler of the Week honors in the process.
Trott went 3-0 last week, despite wrestling up a class at 174 pounds in Gardner-Webb's team win at Davidson. He took a 15-8 decision in that match, and went 2-0 at 165 pounds with a technical fall win (18-2) over American University's Cristian Masaya and topping 17th-ranked Josh Houldsworth of Columbia University.
Trott will lead the Runnin' Bulldogs back to action on Thursday night in Paul Porter Arena against SoCon rival Campbell.
The match gets underway at 7:00 pm, and will be broadcast live on The Big South Network (bigsouthsports.com), with Fabian Fuentes and Andy Bennett providing the call from mat level.
