Vassar, Gamble Listed In Flowrestling D1 Non-Starter Rankings

AUSTIN, Texas --- Freshman Chris Vassar (New Cumberland, Pa.) is ranked No. 1 at 141 pounds in this week's Flowrestling D1 Non-Starter Rankings, and Hunter Gamble (McDonough, Ga.) is listed seventh at 174 pounds.
Vassar has only two losses on his card thus far, carrying a 20-2 record with losses to Citadel's Ugi Khishignyam and Joey Ward of UNC Chapel Hill (No. 2 in the rankings); Vassar holds a 1-1 mark against Ward with a win in their most recent meeting.
The freshman grappler also has wins over Nate Skonieczny of Kent State (No. 7) and Andrew Atkinson of Virginia. Gamble holds a 20-5 record at 174 pounds, and is 1-2 all-time against Appalachian State's Nick Kee, who is ranked sixth just above Gamble.
