BOILING SPRINGS --- Gardner-Webb senior Tyler Strange (Leominster, Mass.) has been named the College Sports Madness Big South Player of the Week after leading the Runnin' Bulldogs to landmark wins over College of Charleston and Clemson in the span of five days.

Strange put together one of the finest three-game stretches of his career last week, averaging 14.3 points and 7.3 assists per game while knocking down six three-pointers. The 5-foot-10 floor general opened the week with a 12-point, eight assist performance against Charleston on Monday, converting 8-of-13 at the free throw line while committing just one turnover.

He followed with easily his best game of the season against Clemson in the opener of the Paradise Jam on Friday, recording his second career double-double with 18 points and a game- and season-high 10 assists, while knocking down the game-tying three with 6.6 seconds to play. Strange would add 13 points, four assists and four steals against Seton Hall on Sunday.

Gardner-Webb closes out the Paradise Jam in the third-place game on Monday evening, taking on Old Dominion at 6:30 pm Eastern Time on the CBS Sports Network.
