Gardner-Webb Women Lead After First Round In Spartanburg Monday

Four Runnin' Bulldogs sit in the top-10 heading into Tuesday's second round, paced by Taylor Dodson and Julia Henderson - who are both tied for second after firing Monday rounds of 74.
Mary Katherine Donovan sits one stroke back in a tie for fifth after carding a 75 and Sarah Bertram is tied for 10th position with a score of 77.
The outstanding team effort leaves Gardner-Webb two strokes in front of second-place High Point, which featured low scorer Sara Bae (73).
Wofford (305), Winthrop (312), Presbyterian (328) and The Citadel (335) rounded out Monday's team scores.
The teams are playing the tournament at the 5,972-yard Country Club course in the Hub City. The tournament is hosted by Wofford College.
The teams will tee off the second and final round of action on Tuesday.
