GWU Women's Tennis Loses 4-3 Heartbreaker To East Carolina

Gardner-Webb (7-3) picked up victories at No. 2 singles from Jenny Lunde (6-1, 6-3), No. 5 singles from Rokia Sacko (6-4, 6-4) and at No. 6 singles from Catherine White (6-2, 6-4).
The Pirates' Michelle Castro nipped Yasmin Doost in a 7-6 (4) first set, and won the second set 6-4 to win at No. 1 singles. ECU (5-5) also captured the doubles point with a an 8-5 win at the No. 1 spot, and in a hard-fought, 8-7 (5) match at No. 2 doubles.
