
Gardner-Webb Women Finish Third At Low Country Intercollegiate

The two-day tournament was played at The Moss Creek Golf Club (Par 72, 5,815 yards).
Dodson fired a 77 on Monday to finish in a tie for seventh position, her third top-10 finish of the spring season. The Aiken, S.C., freshman finished with a two-day score of 160, one stroke ahead of classmate Henderson.
Henderson (79-82-161) was tied for 11th at the conclusion of the tournament, with a low round of 79 on Sunday. Donovan (78-84-162) led the Runnin' Bulldogs with a first-day score of 78, and finished 13th individually.
Sarah Bertram (85-82-167, t-26th) and Pilar Morgan (78-93-171, T-35th) rounded out the scoring for Gardner-Webb.
The Runnin' Bulldogs (318-325-643) finished behind Samford (313-315-628) and Western Carolina (314-317-631) in the team standings, and in front of Bethune-Cookman (324-323-647) and host Wofford (327-334-661).
Up next for Coach Tee Burton's squad is a visit to Morganton, N.C., on March 31 for the two-day Mimosa Hills Intercollegiate Tournament.
