Rain Washes Out Series Opener Against Campbell

BOILING SPRINGS, N.C. --- Following a rash of rain overnight Friday, a brief downpour just five outs into the first game washed out the opening contest of this weekend's Big South Conference series between Gardner-Webb and Campbell, forcing several alterations to the weekend schedule.
Saturday's game will resume at 2:00 pm on Sunday, with a second game slated for 4:00 pm. The final game of the series, originally scheduled for Sunday, will now be played on Monday at a time to be determined.
