MANHEIM, Pa. --- Gardner-Webb has advanced to the semifinal round of the National Wrestling Coaches Association Best of Brand "Pure Entertainment" competition after a resounding victory over second-seeded Minnesota on Tuesday, announced head coach Daniel Elliott.
The Best of Brand "Pure Entertainment" award category features program's best "non-wrestling" related video which promote their brand in a unique manner. These videos are clever and often humorous as they are used to highlight a program beyond performance and statistics to keep fans engaged. The winner is chosen based on two key elements: a panel of judges assessing video performance and quality in accordance to the award, as well as a social media campaign which concludes with an online voting component. 1
