Dodson Named Big South Women's Golfer of the Week

CHARLOTTE, N.C. - Gardner-Webb's Taylor Dodson was named Big South Conference Women's Golfer of week, as chosen by the league office today.
Dodson finished in three-way tie for third-place at the Golfweek Program Challenge event held in Cawley's Island, S.C. She carded a +3, 216 (72, 69, 75) over the three-day event, helping Gardner-Webb finish fifth in the team standings.
This weekly conference award is the first in Dodson's career, but follows a year in which she tabbed two conference Freshman of the Week honors and garnered a spot on conference All-Freshman Team.
The Gardner-Webb Women's Golf will return to action on September 29-30 when they will take part in the UNC Greensboro Forrest Intercollegiate at the Forrest Oaks Country Club.
