GWU's Taylor Dodson Named Big South Women's Co-Golfer of the Week

CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Gardner-Webb Junior Taylor Dodson and Tan Cheeranont of High Point University were selected by the Conference office as the Chocie Hotels Women's Co-Golfers of the Week for their performances earlier this week.
Dodson earned the weekly honor by adding her second top-5 finish on the fall season placing in a tie for fifth with Cheeranont at the 2015 Lady Pirate Intercollegiate. Dodson shot a tournament low round of 69 3-under par in her first round, adding a 78, and a 76 to her card to finish +7 for the tournament. It was the seventh-consecutive top-10 finish for the junior from Aiken, South Carolina dating back to last season.
Dodson and the rest of the Gardner-Webb women's golf team will shift their sights to the 2015 Charleston Southern Invitational, with play occurring on Monday and Tuesday, October 5-6 at the Rivertowne Country Club in Mt. Pleasant, S.C.
