GWU Travels To North Carolina Central Wednesday
The Gardner-Webb University volleyball team will complete its home-and-home series with North Carolina Central on Wednesday, traveling to Durham, N.C. to take on the Eagles at 7:00 pm. The Runnin' Bulldogs defeated the Eagles, 3-1, in the teams' first meeting on September 8 in Paul Porter Arena.

Two Nominations, Two Awards!
Junior Taylor Lillard and Sydney Marshall each took home a Big South weekly honor on Monday, earning Choice Hotels Player of the Week and Defensive Player of the Week, respectively, after leading the Runnin' Bulldogs to crucial victories over conference foes Presbyterian and Winthrop this past weekend. Lillard recorded 36 kills and hit .315 for the weekend, while Marshall tallied a total of 18 blocks - including a program five-set record 12 stuffs against Winthrop.
Last Time Out
Gardner-Webb held on for a thrilling five-set victory over Big South foe Winthrop on Saturday, combining for a program-record 18 blocks, to post its second win of the weekend after defeating Presbyterian on Friday night.
