GWU Ready For Battle of the Bulldogs Weekend
The Gardner-Webb University volleyball team will host UNC Asheville on Friday and South Carolina State on Saturday to resume its home schedule. First serve for Friday's Education Day match is slated for 11:30 am, with a 4:00 pm start time scheduled for Saturday's contest.

Two Nominations, Two Awards!
Junior Taylor Lillard and Sydney Marshall each took home a Big South weekly honor on Monday, earning Choice Hotels Player of the Week and Defensive Player of the Week, respectively, after leading the Runnin' Bulldogs to crucial victories over conference foes Presbyterian and Winthrop this past weekend. Lillard recorded 36 kills and hit .315 for the weekend, while Marshall tallied a total of 18 blocks - including a program five-set record 12 stuffs against Winthrop.
Last Time Out
Gardner-Webb swept North Carolina in straight sets on Wednesday evening to complete the season series sweep of the Eagles. Tyra Montour and Kaelyn Dyson paced the Runnin' Bulldog attack with nine and eight kills, respectively, while Jene matched her season-high with eight blocks.
