
Arjun Jung Named To Big South All-Tournament Team

GREENSBORO, N.C.- Gardner-Webb's Arjun Jung has been named to the 2015 Big South Men's Soccer Championship all-tournament team, announced the league office following the conclusion of Sunday's championship match.
A starter at midfield, Jung played all 90 minutes in Gardner-Webb's quarterfinal matchup at Radford.
The senior from London, England, played all 18 matches during his senior season making 17 starts at both the midfield and defensive positions. A three-year starter for the Runnin' Bulldogs, Jung scored his lone goal of the season in the 4-1 loss against High Point on Halloween. Jung concluded his career in Boiling Springs with two goals and four assists for a total of eight points.
A transfer from Northwood University (Mich.), Jung was named team captain earlier this season, and despite playing midfield for the majority of his three years for the Runnin' Bulldogs, agreed start multiple games on defense to replace an injured Hunter Frey.
The son of Sumail and Neena Jung, Arjun is expected to graduate in May with a degree in mathematics.
