Pashkova Nets Big South Postseason Honors

CHARLOTTE --- Gardner-Webb senior Anna Pashkova (Iowa City, Iowa) was named to the Big South Conference All-Academic Team, announced league officials Tuesday.
Pashkova capped an unforgettable collegiate career with the Runnin' Bulldogs this past weekend, registering a combined 47 digs against Radford and Liberty to finish her four-year tenure ranked third on the Big South's all-time list with 2,312 career digs. The senior libero totaled 611 digs this fall, finishing the regular season ranked second in the Big South and ninth in the nation.
A native of Iowa City, Iowa, Pashkova currently ranks second on the NCAA's active leaders list in digs, and is one of only three players in the Big South to rank in the top 20 nationally in any category.
Pashkova has also been a superb server throughout her career, finishing eighth on the program's Division I service aces list with 98 aces and ranks fifth all-time with a sterling .943 serve percentage. The program's all-time digs leader, Pashkova is the only player in the school's Division I era to surpass the 2,000-digs plateau.
