
Women's Basketball Battles Bluefield In Final Non-Conference Matchup

BOILING SPRINGS, N.C.- Gardner-Webb welcomes NAIA opponent Bluefield College to Paul Porter Arena, for its final non-conference matchup of the season as well as the final game of 2015, Thursday afternoon at 3:30 p.m. This will be the first game of a doubleheader with the GWU men's squad, as they host Coastal Carolina at 6:00 p.m. Thursday's matchup can be seen on the Big South Network and you can listen to all of the action on WGWG.org, with Jared Pankhurst calling all the action.
Last Time Out
The Runnin' Bulldogs are coming off a five day trip to San Juan, Puerto Rico where they faced three first-time opponents in Western Michigan, Southern Methodist, and Arizona. All three opponents outshot and outrebounded the Runnin' Bulldogs, but Gardner-Webb attempted more free-throws and blocked more shots than its opponents in all three games.

Olivia Parker is off to a fantastic start to her senior season, as she has recorded a double-double in six of the 11 games so far this season which ranks tied fifth in the country and has scored 12 or more points in eight games. For her career, Parker has recorded 26 double-doubles.
