BOILING SPRINGS, N.C.- Gardner-Webb junior forward Olivia Parker has been named the College Sports Madness Big South Player of the Week for the games played Feb. 9-15.

Gardner-Webb posted a 2-0 record last week with victories at Charleston Southern (62-56) on Tuesday, and Saturday against Winthrop (75-62) in Paul Porter Arena.

The two wins last week by GWU completed the season-sweep of both Charleston Southern and Winthrop. 

Against the Buccaneers, Parker notched her third straight double-double, scoring 15 points and hauling down a career-high 17 rebounds. Charleston Southern led by 10 with 12:51 remaining in the second half, but GWU went on a 13-0 over the next 10 minutes to secure the victory. 

The junior forward totaled 19 points and eight rebounds in the win over the Eagles, for her 17th double-figure scoring performance of the season. Parker played all 20 minutes and scored 10 of her 19 points in the second half, to secure GWU's third win of the season when trailing at halftime. 

Parker continues to have a breakout season for the Runnin' Bulldogs, averaging career-highs in, points (12.8), rebounds (8.5), blocks (1.3), and field goal percentage (43.1%). 

Gardner-Webb puts its season-high three-game win streak on the line Tuesday, when it hosts Campbell for a key matchup at 4:00 p.m.
