Women's Soccer Announces 2015 Spring Schedule

BOILING SPRINGS, N.C.- The Gardner-Webb women's soccer team has released its spring schedule, head coach Mike Varga announced Wednesday.
The spring schedule will feature nine exhibition matches, five of which will be contested at Greene-Harbison Stadium.
The Runnin' Bulldogs will kick-off the spring schedule Feb. 28 when they host Converse College at 12 p.m., before heading to Greenville, S.C. to compete in the CESA College Showcase, where they will face Lander, Wofford, and Bob Jones University.
Four of the final five matches will be contested on home soil, with the lone road matchup coming against Davidson on Mar. 25.
Gardner-Webb is coming off an impressive 2014 season, where it compiled an overall record of 8-10-2, and advanced to the conference tournament for the first time since 2011.
For their efforts on the field, Shelby Hooe, Krista Chauvin, and Addison Abee garnered All-Conference honors. Hooe was named the Scholar Athlete of the Year and was a First-Team selection, while Chavin and Abee were honored with Second-Team and Honorable Mention merits.
