GEORGETOWN, S.C. – The first day of the 2015 Big South Women's Golf Championship has been officially declared a washout due to inclement weather surrounding the Georgetown, S.C. area where the host course the Golf Club at DeBordieu is located.
All scores from this mornings play have been scratched and will not count as the Championship will now been shifted to a 36-hole tournament because of the washout with play will resuming tomorrow morning at 7:30 a.m.
Tomorrow will consist of two stipulated rounds of 9 holes, so if weather issues arise again as is forecasted, the Championship can be moved to a 27-hole tournament on Wednesday, April 15.
