
Gardner-Webb's Rokia Sacko Named to Big South Women's Tennis All-Academic Team

CHARLOTTE, N.C.- Gardner-Webb junior Rokia Sacko was named to the 2015 Big South Women's Tennis All-Academic Team, as announced by the League office in Charlotte, N.C. this afternoon.
Sacko has compiled a 3.74 GPA so far over her three years here at Gardner-Webb. The Nursing major has played 18 of 19 matches this season for the Runnin' Bulldogs, and has played a huge roll for Gardner-Webb compiling a 10-8 record in singles play and 8-10 record at doubles.
In her three seasons for Gardner-Webb Sacko has a combined record of 42-18 in singles play at three separate positions, including a sensational 20-1 singles record last season.
Sacko and her teammates are set to begin the 2015 Big South Tennis Championship presented by Musco Sports Lighting tomorrow Wednesday, April 15 at 9:00 a.m. The Runnin' Bulldogs will square off tomorrow against Presbyterian College at the Asheville Racquet Club in Asheville, N.C.
