GWU Travels to Final Early Season Tournament
The Gardner-Webb University volleyball team will participate in its final early season tournament this weekend, making the cross-country trek to Iowa City, Iowa for the University of Iowa's Holiday Inn Hawkeye Challenge. The Runnin' Bulldogs will open the weekend against host Iowa before taking on Drake twice, once on Friday and again on Saturday morning.

Pashkova Makes History
Senior Anna Pashkova wrote her name into a new spot in Gardner-Webb's record book against North Carolina Central on September 8, recording 19 digs to become the program's all-time leader in the school's Division I era with 1,877 career digs. Her performance pushed her past former GWU great Katie Matykowski's career total of 1,874, surpassing Matkykowski's mark in 82 fewer sets.
Last time Out
Gardner-Webb fell to Furman in straight sets on Tuesday night in Paul Porter Arena, as the Paladins posted 39 kills and a side out percentage of 67%, including an 80 percent clip in the final frame.
