BOILING SPRINGS --- Gardner-Webb's 2016 Prospect Clinic has been rescheduled for Sunday, March 13 following its postponement from January 23, announced head coach Jillian Krick Wednesday.
The clinic, which was originally scheduled for Saturday, January 23, was postponed due to inclement weather in Cleveland County and the surrounding area.
The clinic is open to all players in grades nine through 12 at a cost of $65 per athlete, and is geared toward those interested in playing collegiate lacrosse. The day's activities will begin with an introduction to the coaching staff, and a tour of both the Gardner-Webb campus and lacrosse facilities from 9:00 am to 11:30 am.
After the tour, athletes will proceed to lunch from 11:30 am to 12:00 pm and then clinic check in from 12:00 pm to 12:30 pm.
Once check in is complete, Coach Krick and her staff will take the athletes through a comprehensive skills clinic designed to best prepare them for the jump from high school to the collegiate game. The clinic will run from 12:30 p.m. to approximately 4:00 p.m. at Spangler Stadium.
