Men's Tennis Falls at ACC foe Clemson

CLEMSON S.C. – Despite several strong efforts, the Gardner-Webb men's tennis team was shutout by Clemson 7-0 Sunday evening.

Both Nikita Zverkov and Benjamin Kaszas were able to force three sets before falling to their opponent. Zverkov was defeated by Daffra Sanon (1-6, 6-3, 0-6) at No. 2 singles, while Kaszas fell to Arturo Pinazo in the No. 4 slot (2-6, 6-3, 3-6).
 
Tiger's No. 1 single player defeated Maximilian Scholl (6-1, 6-4). All three double's matches ended in favor of Clemson as they took the point for the match.
 
The Runnin' Bulldogs will be back in action Thursday as they travel to face Big South rival Presbyterian with a start time set for 2:00 p.m.
