BOILING SPRINGS, N.C. – The Gardner-Webb women's tennis team evened their record at 3-3 with a 7-0 win over Limestone (1-1) Friday afternoon.
In the double's portion the Runnin' Bulldogs were able to sweep all three matches and gain the match point.
Rokia Sacko made quick work of her opponent (6-2, 6-0) at No. 1 singles, while Sandra Bolstad did the same against Marian Pinate at the No. 3 slot winning (6-3, 6-0).
Both Stina Magnusson and Catherine White went the distance winning their matches in three sets. Magnusson defeated Alexandra Boulbin (6-4, 4-6, 10-8) at No. 2 singles, while White defeated her counterpart (6-3, 1-6, 10-3) in the No. 5 position.
Sandra Bolstad and Sarah Rieckmann both defeated their Limestone opponents in straight sets.
Gardner-Webb will be back in action Sunday afternoon at UNC Greensboro with a start time set for 1 p.m.
