Men's tennis drops match to UNC Greensboro

GREENSBORO N.C. – The Gardner-Webb (1-6) men's tennis team suffered a 5-2 loss to UNC Greensboro (3-1) Saturday afternoon.

Both Johan Fors and Jonathan Walker notched singles wins for the Runnin' Bulldogs. Fors defeated James Flynn (7-5, 5-7, 1-0) at No. 6 singles, while Walker bested William Albright (7-5, 6-4) in the No. 4 slot.

No. 1 Maximilian Scholl lost to Connor Thompson by a score of (7-5, 6-3).

The Spartans swept all three doubles matches to earn the point for the match.
