Men's Tennis Match At Elon Cancelled

ELON, N.C.- The Gardner-Webb University men's tennis match at Elon has been cancelled due to rain, and the match will not be made up.
The Runnin' Bulldogs and the Phoenix had completed the doubles portion and were in the middle of singles play when rain forced the cancellation of the match.
Gardner-Webb had secured the doubles point as Jonathan Walker and Paul Hogan won 7-6 at #2 doubles and Nikita Zverkov and Yaroslav Prostakov had clinched the point with a 6-2 win in the #1 position.
The Runnin' Bulldogs visit Campbell to open Big South play in their next match, Saturday at 11:00 a.m.
