Runnin' Bulldogs Compete at Appalachian State Split Meet Friday Evening

BOONE, N.C. – A handful of members of the Gardner-Webb men's and women's indoor track and field team took part in the Appalachian State Indoor Open Split Meet on Friday night.
Ashleigh Cleveland took first in the women's high jump at 1.52 meters.
Quenton Jones finished second in the men's high jump at 1.92 meters.
Matt Dillon finished second in the men's pole vault, crossing the bar at a height of 4.30 meters, followed by Nick Bandos at 4.15 meters, good enough for fourth place.
Joseph Johnson finished eighth in the men's 800 meter run, clocking in at 2:17.29
Gardner-Webb will next be in action at the 2017 Big South Conference Indoor Track & Field Championships, taking place at the JDL Fast Track in Winston-Salem, N.C.
