With this being Gardner-Webb's lone exhibition match of the season Varga stated, "It was nice to see us move the ball and keep possession so well tonight."

Twenty-five different players saw time tonight during the match, displaying good depth as a team. "It was nice to see our freshman compete at this level for the first time," claimed Varga. "Each time we made a substitution, I think it added to our level of play," he continued.

Overall, Coach Varga claimed he was pleased with his team tonight for applying what they have been working on in practice, during the game.

The team will travel to Davidson on Friday, Aug. 18 for their first regular season game.
