Men's Golf Finishes 15th At 2018 East Bay Deli Tournament

KIAWAH ISLAND, S.C. – Gardner-Webb men's golf wrapped up its 2018 fall season with a 15th place finish at the East Bay Deli Classic hosted by Charleston Southern.
The tournament was held at the 6,911-yard Turtle Point Golf Course (Par 72).
Gardner-Webb was paced by freshmen Andy Yang (80-75-68-223) and Zack Byers (77-72-77-226), with Yang carding a team-low round of 68 on the final day to move into a tie for 31st. Byers shot even par in the second round and finished in a tie for 45th.
Steffen Smith (72-80-75-227) finished on stroke off Byers' pace to tie for 51st individually. Miles Albright (79-79-74-232) finished tied for 78th and Jonathan Henry (81-74-81-236) tied for 81st to round out the field for the Runnin' Bulldogs.
