BOILING SPRINGS, N.C. – Head Coach Mike Griffith announced a pair of changes to the Gardner-Webb men's tennis schedule this afternoon, including one to a Big South Conference match against Winthrop.
The contest with the Winthrop Eagles, originally scheduled for Friday, March 2, at 2:30 p.m., has been pushed back a day due to the threat of high winds in Boiling Springs, North Carolina. The Runnin' Bulldogs and Eagles will now face off on Saturday, March 3, at 2:00 p.m.
Additionally, Gardner-Webb's match at Kennesaw State, which was scheduled for February 17, but postponed, has been rescheduled for Sunday, March 25. The contest will take place at 2 p.m. from the Betty Siegel Tennis Courts in Kennesaw, Georgia.
The Runnin' Bulldogs are coming off a non-conference win against Appalachian State and currently stand 6-8 overall with an 0-1 mark in Big South Conference play. The 'Dogs will look to win their first BSC match on Saturday against Winthrop.
