April 02, 2018 | Women's Tennis
BOONE, N.C. – The Gardner-Webb women's tennis team moved their match against Appalachian State from 1 p.m. today to 10:30 a.m., but the time change did little good to avoid the weather conditions.
The match between the Runnin' Bulldogs and Mountaineers was canceled after doubles play.
Gardner-Webb will now turn its attention to finishing out Big South Conference play before tournament action begins. The Runnin' Bulldogs will play three consecutive BSC road matches to end the regular season.
The 'Dogs (3-11, 0-5 BSC) will travel to Liberty (11-8, 4-1 BSC) on Friday, April 6, for a 2 p.m contest before facing off against Longwood (7-7, 0-6 BSC) at 1 p.m. on Saturday, April 7.
The Runnin' Bulldogs will conclude the regular season on Tuesday, April 10 against the Presbyterian College Blue Hose. Match time is set for 2:00 p.m. from Clinton, South Carolina.
