CHARLOTTE – Gardner-Webb sophomore Linnea Hofgren was named Big South Conference Women's Golfer of the Week on Thursday, capping a wonderful week for the Runnin' Bulldogs.

Hofgren started the tournament with a round of 74 on Monday, sitting in fourth position individually after the day's round. She was at her strongest on Tuesday, shooting a tournament-best round of 70 (2-under par) to move into the top spot by day's end.
She finished three strokes in front of her nearest competition.
Hofgren and the Runnin' Bulldogs will be back in action on October 21-22 at the Patriot Match Play in Ninety Six, S.C.
