Marinelli Falls in Opening Round of NCAA Division I Wrestling Championships Thursday

PITTSBURGH, Pa. – Gardner-Webb redshirt senior Tyler Marinelli dropped his opening matchup Thursday at the 2019 NCAA Division I Wrestling Championships at the PPG Paints Arena in Pittsburgh, Pa.
Seeded No. 20 at 165 pounds, Marinelli fell to No. 13 Andrew Fogarty of North Dakota State by a 17-2 tech fall.
Marinelli will now take on West Virginia's No. 29 Nick Kiussis in the wresteback rounds in tonight's session in what will be Match 304 of the tournament.
