Gardner-Webb's Peech Bunnadodee Named Big South Men's Golf Freshman of the Week

CHARLOTTE – Gardner-Webb's Peech Bunnadodee was named Big South Conference Men's Golf Freshman of the Week Thursday afternoon following a strong effort at the USC Upstate On Day event.
Bunnadodee shot an even-par 72 over 18 holes, finishing one stroke behind sophomore Zack Byers individually, and two strokes out of first place. He was the highest finisher among freshmen at the event.
He led the round with six birdies. The event was held at the 6,982-yard Carolina Country Club in Spartanburg, S.C.
Gardner-Webb was one of five schools in the field, joining by USC Upstate, Wofford, High Point and Charleston Southern.
The Runnin' Bulldogs will travel to nearby Davidson, N.C., on Monday for the annual River Run Intercollegiate tournament (Sept. 23-24).
