
Jonathan Frye Earns CCSA Men’s Swimmer of The Week Award

ATLANTA, Ga. - Gardner-Webb's Jonathan Frye earned the first CCSA Swimmer of the Week honor of the 2020-21 season, announced Tuesday by the league office.
This is his first CCSA Swimmer of the Week honor for Frye, and the 11th Runnin' Bulldog to earn weekly honors in CCSA history.
Over this past weekend, the Junior from Columbia, S.C. helped lead Gardner-Webb Men's Swimming to their first victory of the season over Lenoir-Rhyne (163-97). In the meet Frye took home a pair of first place finishes, winning the 100 Breaststroke with a time of 59.21, and the 200 Breaststroke with a time of 2:14.44.
Additionally, Frye contributed to a first-place finish in the Men's 200 Medley Relay. Which took home the gold with a time of 1:34.28.
