Prugh, Eavenson Finishes XC Season at Southeast Regionals

LOUSIVILLE, KY – Gardner-Webb's Amy Prugh and Ashley Eavenson competed in the NCAA Southeast Regionals on Friday morning. This was the first 6K that the women ran on the season. The meet was competed at E.P. Tom Sawyer Park.
Prugh was the first of the two GWU runners across the line. She finished the race in 201st with a time of 24:31. Eavenson had a 26:11 for a finish in 220th place.
N.C. State won the women's race having 34 points. The Wolfpack's Kelsey Chmiel won the race at 19:58 and her teammate Katelyn Tuohy was the runner-up at 20:06.
The race concluded the Cross-Country season for the Runnin' Bulldogs, and now prepare for the indoor track and field season.
