Gardner-Webb Swimming Finishes Day Two Of Fall Frenzy Invite

CHARLOTTE, N.C. – The Gardner-Webb swim team completed its second day of competition at the 2021 Kellianne Nagy Fall Frenzy. At the conclusion of day two, the women currently sit in fifth-place with 438 points, and the men are currently in fourth-place with 586 points.
In the women's 200-yard medley relay, the squad of Delaney Willette, Abby Surley, Paris Binard, and Eliza Gunson took fifth-place overall for the 'Dogs with a time of 1:46.21 at the wall.
The men's squad of Brady Fields, Jonathan Frye, Tim Bennett, and Seggio Bernardina also scooped up a fifth-place in the 200-yard medley relay with a time of 1:31.36 at the wall.
As for the women's 800-yard freestyle relay, the squad of Emma Maust, Alyssa Church, Anna Frye, Emma Gelatt took another fifth-place finish with a time of 7:41.52.
Wrapping up the second day of competition, the men's squad of Theo Drescher, Logan Cornelison, Hayden Carpenter, and Garrett Despres took seventh in the men's 800-yard freestyle relay, as they clocked in a time of 6:57.45 at the finish.
The 'Dogs will be back in action tomorrow for the final day of Fall Frenzy Invite action.
