2022 Spring Schedule Released by Women's Tennis

BOILING SPRINGS, N.C. – The 2022 schedule for the Gardner-Webb Women's Tennis Team was announced today by Head Coach Jim Corn. There are 15 matches scheduled that features the first three games to be played at home.
The season will start on January 16 as GWU will welcome Kennesaw State to the Webb Tennis Complex. The 'Dogs will then have two weeks until their next matches, Limestone (2/1) and Western Carolina (2/5).
After playing their first three at home, the Runnin' Bulldogs will hit the road for the following three. This series includes Elon (2/13), UNCW (2/19), and Wofford (2/23).
Gardner-Webb hosts Hampton on February 27 and travels to UNC Asheville on March 2 to begin Big South Conference play. The nonconference schedule wraps up for GWU on March 6 against Davidson.
The remaining road matches for the Runnin' Bulldogs include Presbyterian (3/10), Longwood (3/20), and Campbell (3/26). The others left for GWU are home matches versus Charleston Southern (3/13), Radford (3/22), and North Carolina A&T (4/2).
The top six teams in the Big South will qualify for the conference championship. The first-round matches will be held between April 15-16 with the higher seeds for each match as the host. The tournament's semifinals and finals will be held on April 23 and 24 at Marion Diehl Park in Charlotte, N.C.
