GREENSBORO, N.C. – On Sunday afternoon, Gardner-Webb Track & Field competed in the Aggie Classic Twilight which was hosted by North Carolina A&T at the Irwin Belk Track Complex.
 
Kenny VanVorst, Julian Smallwood and Chase Thornhill each competed in a single event in today's meet.
 
In the men's hammer throw, Kenny VanVorst took first place for the Runnin' Bulldogs by hitting a mark of 57.93 meters.
 
Julian Smallwood placed second in the men's shot put by hitting a mark of 16.96 meters.
 
As for the men's 400-meter dash, Chase Thornhill took home third by clocking in a time of 47.80 seconds at the finish line.
