ITA Announces 2021 All-Academic Teams and Scholar-Athletes

SKILLMAN, N.J. – On Monday, the Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) announced the 2021 All-Academic Teams and Scholar-Athletes. Gardner-Webb Women's Tennis team earned All-Academic status and had all nine players on the team named ITA Scholar-Athletes.
This marked the eighth consecutive season that the women's program has been named an ITA All-Academic Team.
The players listed as Scholar-Athletes were Manon Delsol, Courtney Fyvie, Elin Hellberg, Maria Jardim, Valentine Limauge, Daniela Naupari, Miljana Ristic, Teodora Ristic, Elise Semmartin.
The ITA All-Academic Team is open to any ITA program that has a team grade point average (GPA) of 3.2 or above on a 4.0 scale. Gardner-Webb had a fall GPA of 3.88 and a spring of 3.87.
To be named to an ITA Scholar-Athlete, the student-athlete needs to have a 3.5 GPA on a 4.0 scale and completed at least 2 full semesters at the school.
