Wrestling Places 13 on 2020-2021 SoCon Academic Honor Roll

SPARTANBURG, S.C. – Gardner-Webb wrestling had 13 men named to the 2020-2021 Southern Conference Academic Honor Roll, as announced by the SoCon office Thursday afternoon.
Earning spots on the honor roll were Brandon Bright (Edmond, Okla), Todd Carter (Blachshear, Ga.), Aedyn Concepcion (Anchorage, Alaska), Trevon Majette (Chesapeake, Va.), RJ Mosley (Oklahoma City, Okla.), Taylor Parks (Arlington, Texas), Gabriel Pickett (Fuquay-Varina, N.C.), Austin Reames (Bristow, Va.), Evan Schenk (Painesville, Ohio) , Anthony Schiess (Cary, N.C.), Conrad Schiess (Cary, N.C.) , Bryce Sellers (Cary, N.C.) , and Jack Trautman (Waterford, Wis.).
The SoCon academic honor roll consists of student-athletes who participated in varsity sports and posted a 3.0 grade point average or higher for the academic year, were eligible the entire academic year and were members of the final squad lists. There were a league-record 2,740 student-athletes recognized among the league's 10 member institutions and 16 associate members.
Additionally, Bright, Concepcion, Schenk, and Anthony Schiess earned the SoCon Commissioner's Medal for having a GPA of 3.8 or higher.
