Stefano Puga Added as Assistant Coach for 2021-2022 Season

BOILING SPRINGS, N.C. – Gardner-Webb Men's Tennis announced the addition of Stefano Puga to its coaching staff for the 2021-2022 season.
"I'm excited to move from teammate to coach for this group of players and work alongside Coach Mike Griffith. Our leadership will help us continue to compete at a high level and achieve our goals as a team."
Puga will bring five years of experience as a student-athlete to the position, as he was a member of the team since 2016. He collected a combined 42 victories between singles and doubles competitions during his career. This spring, he was named Second Team All-Conference for doubles. Puga was also a member of the team that clinched a share of the Big South Regular Season Championship in 2019.
The Runnin' Bulldogs kick off their fall tournament schedule during the weekend of September 17 at the James Bonk Invite.
