CHARLESTON, S.C. – Gardner-Webb women's golf finished fifth at the 2022 Buccaneer Classic hosted by Charleston Southern.

The Runnin' Bulldogs finished seven strokes in front of Radford. The tournament was played at the Crowfield Plantation's Crowfield Golf Club.

Neza Siftar led Gardner-Webb, finishing in 16th. Georgia Barr (22nd) and Linnea Hofgren (25th) also posted top-25 individual finishes.

Katelyn Griggs (28th), Kayla Dowell (38th)and Gillian O'Brien (41st) also played for the 'Dogs in the second annual tournament.

Charleston Southern won the event, nipping Western Carolina by six strokes.

Gardner-Webb will return to action next week, traveling to nearby Spartanburg, S.C., for the 2022 Terrier Fall Intercollegiate at Spartanburg Country Club. The tournament tees off on October 24.
