GWU Finishes Fall Season at Furman Intercollegiate

GREENVILLE, S.C. - Gardner-Webb finished their fall schedule at the Furman Intercollegiate this past weekend. They finsihed in a tie for 10th with Campbell each with 876 strokes across the three rounds. 

The Runnin' Bulldogs lowered their round totals each time out as they had one of the five lowest final rounds on Sunday. They carded 299-291-286 during the two days at the event. it was played at the Furman University Golf Course with a par of 71 on the 7,005 foot course.

Jack Boyer had the best finish on the team as he was in a tie for 22nd at +3. He had his best round on Sunday with a 67 at -4. Maddox Whittington was next in a tie for 36th at +7 and tied for the tournament lead with two eagles. Connor Fahey and Carter Rains each fired +11 at T59 with Max White rounding out the team's performances at +12 and T64. Round 2 was the best for White as he went two-under with a 69. 

GWU will start their spring schedule at the Wexford Intercollegaite in Hilton Head, S.C. from February 20-21.
