SPARTANBURG, S.C. – Gardner-Webb competed in the 2022 Wofford Terrier Invite this past weekend, posting solid performances in doubles matches at the event.
 
Maria Jardim won a singles match in the singles byes bracket winning 6-1, 6-0 over Camryn McClure of Radford.
 
After dropping their first match on Saturday, Jardim and Emilia Roslund won each of theirs on Sunday in the top draw at the event. The first was a 6-2 victory over a duo from Radford followed by a 7-5 score over Western Carolina pairing. In the second draw, Katie Watts and Cayline Le Grange defeated Dasha Osadova and Madison Schwarz 6-4 in the opening match.
 
The Runnin' Bulldogs completed their fall tournament schedule with its conclusion and will now prepare for the spring duals season.
